Client Advocate

Jeff began his career in sales — learning the craft from the ground up, earning recognition in the top 5% for growth across the Southeast. He became a high-performing leader at Verizon, managing teams of 20–28 people, earning national recognition in the Winner's Circle two out of three years, and developing deep expertise in complex enterprise and government technology sales.

In 2020, he took the unusual step of becoming a founder. He launched Playfora in Columbia, South Carolina — a fintech application built from zero. He raised $1 million in venture capital, built and led a team, owned revenue, pricing and P&L, worked deeply with product and technology, and scaled the company to $24M in annualized payment volume, 30,000+ users, and ultimately profitability.

"He has been the salesperson trying to win the account, the executive responsible for revenue, the founder pitching investors, the leader hiring a team, and the person ultimately responsible for whether the business succeeds."

At Verizon Enterprise Solutions, Jeff served as a Government and Business Account Executive — managing a portfolio of 100+ enterprise and government accounts across South Carolina. He sold complex technology solutions to state agencies, school districts, and enterprise organizations, navigating long sales cycles, competitive bids, and multi-year contract negotiations.

He earned Verizon's Winner's Circle recognition two out of three years, placing in the top 10% nationally. Before moving into enterprise sales, he built his foundation as a General Manager — leading teams of 20–28 people and developing the sales coaching and performance management skills that now make him a stronger individual contributor.

I've been on both sides of the table.

"I know how to sell the vision — and I understand what it takes to deliver it."

Most sales leaders understand customers and selling. Jeff does too — but he also understands what happens after the contract is signed. He has lived inside the product, worked alongside developers, made prioritization calls, navigated QA, owned pricing and P&L, pitched investors, built partnerships, and solved operational challenges that most salespeople never see.

That experience means he can communicate effectively with customers while also working credibly across product, engineering, operations, and leadership teams. He doesn't just sell the vision. He understands what it takes to deliver it.

AI as a working tool — not a buzzword.

Jeff uses AI to create what he calls obsessive efficiency — eliminating low-value work so more time goes toward what actually moves the needle. At BlueCross BlueShield of SC, he built multiple Copilot agents within his first two months that automated recurring workflows and saved hours of manual effort each week. He has also built AI-powered tools from scratch, including a custom analytics and selection platform for a competitive golf tournament that processed advanced statistical data to surface matchup insights. In environments where most people haven't touched AI yet, Jeff is already running it.
